Welcome toRise & Shine Pediatrics
Unlike adults, children need regular pediatric checkups from a young age. As a child, the body is still growing and much more susceptible to various health issues and conditions. The sooner we catch these issues and begin treatment, the better chance the child has of growing up without the issues becoming a serious problem.
At Rise & Shine Pediatrics, we strive to help children grow up healthy and happy. The first step is to begin treatment from the newborn stages up through adolescence. We treat each child as our own and help them receive the treatment they need.
From the moment patients and their parents/guardians walk in the door to follow-up appointments, our team provides a comfortable treatment environment. We help the child ease into treatment and relax so they feel safe and know we are here to help. Our team has the training and patience to talk children through the process so that they feel comfortable and build a positive relationship with visiting the doctor. We can also help schedule all the necessary appointments throughout the child’s development starting in infancy. Our team can also answer any questions or address any concerns the parent/guardian has during the appointment. With a variety of services, we can help keep your child healthy.
Contrary to what some people might think, children need regular checkups more than once a year. Children are just as susceptible, if not more susceptible, to specific conditions or health risks. Thus, it is crucial to seek a professional pediatrician who understands a child’s needs. Our services include pediatric preventative care, pediatric acute care, pediatric vaccines, prenatal consultation, newborn care, children’s health care, children’s obesity treatment, pediatric abdominal pain, ADHD treatment, pediatric asthma treatment, suture removal for kids, adolescent care and more. We can also act as a pediatrician for autism in patients and customize the treatment for the patient’s needs. Call us to learn more about our services or to schedule an appointment.
We will need the parents/guardians of new patients to fill out a “New Patient Information Form” that covers the child’s medical history, current condition, insurance information, allergies and any other medical facts we need to know. Once we have this information, we will then begin the first appointment. Depending on the nature of the appointment and the age of the patient, we will determine if treatment is necessary and recommend steps parents/guardians can take to keep their child healthy. By continuing to keep up regular visits, we can monitor the child’s growth and identify unhealthy changes that occur. We will help to ease the child into an appointment, so the child is comfortable visiting the doctor.
